EAST SELECTOR 1991
Alexander Moffat studied at Edinburgh College of Art. From 1979 Moffat taught at Glasgow School of Art where he encouraged a new generation of Scottish figurative painters including Peter Howson, Ken Currie and Steven Campbell.

Andrew Brighton is a critic and curator. . As well as publishing in art magazines in Uk and USA he was one of the authors of The Economic Situation of the Visual Artist and the author of the Francis Bacon. He was formerly Senior Curator for Public Programmes at Tate Modern.
